COMPETITIONS

If you only do one thing in FBLA-PBL, competitions should be that thing! We have over 50 events to choose from that can fit for any major wanting to practice their skills on a state and national level.

Fall Semester

August - December

During the Fall semester is when FBLA-PBL is gearing up for the Spring. During Fall, most of our time is spent helping students discover competitions they are interested and hold competitions if there are two UF students wanting to do the same event. However, there are a few conferences during the Fall that FBLA-PBL students can attend.

State Fall Leadership Conference - Mid October - Mid November

National Fall Leadership Conference - November

Spring Semester

January - May

Spring is where all the fun is! During Spring, we are practicing our competitions in prep for the SLC. Competitions are solidified by early Spring. Towards the end of Spring, UF visits Orlando and competes against other schools to qualify for nationals (which is located in a different city each year). For list of Competitions and Regualtions, please scroll down to our "Competition Discovery" section.

If you qualify, you will attend a Pre-NLC in April or May to better prepare for yourself for competitors on the national level. These will be later in the semester.

State Leadership Conference - Mid March

Summer Semester

May - July

The summer semester is when FBLA-PBL is the least active. However, we still encourage national competitors to still practice! Nationals is usually held in between our break between Summer A and B.

National Leadership Conference - Late June - Early July
